Across the frozen Volga.

In winter 2022, I joined a dog sledding expedition near Tolyatti, Russia.

We traveled on the frozen Volga River, with 70 huskies pulling us through deep snow and subzero winds.

My role: keep my camera batteries alive and capture the story.
