My second home.

Over multiple summer seasons, I’ve guided groups through the Raftsund, Henningsvær, and the wild coastline of Austvågøya in Lofoten, Norway. From multi-day expeditions to regular day trips, this region has become my second home.

We paddle between islands, camp on remote beaches, fish, and explore—always with space for curiosity, conversation, and learning about the fragile environment we’re moving through.

One part of that: collaborating with the NGO In The Same Boat. As we go, we clean up plastic waste, build small depots, and send GPS coordinates to help support their work.

My role is to guide, teach, and document. And to share what it feels like to move slowly through a place like this.

I’ve paddled in many places—but Lofoten is the one I return to, year after year.
